Job Description:

The Logistics Administrator is an hourly position that is responsible for monitoring the flow of materials to support production needs. This position oversees the material master maintenance of the Kanban system to ensure the accuracy of standardized flow of parts for just-in-time manufacturing. This position also provides and administrative support needed for the Logistics team.• Complies and runs daily reports in SAP to identify accuracy and status levels of materials for various processes, including COGI and Kanban.• Prepares monthly reports regarding all Kanban movements along with root cause analysis.• Performs material receipt and analysis and investigates losses.• Audits receiving process, follows-up and performs resolution of discrepancies, including duplicate receipts.• Coordinates receiving record retention adhering to Bilstein Information Lifecycle Management requirements.• Complies monthly employee performance data and creates summary reports for each supervisor to utilize for the development of their teams.• Reviews movements from SUPR and updated log. • Sets up, creates and adjusts Kanban cycles.• Maintains the ordering and inventory supply of non-stock items, including MRO (maintenance repair and operating) supplies, Loctite, cardboard flats, lubricants, etc.• Performs audits and data entries on Kanban racks and Reservations.
