Responsibilities

Clinical Concierge RT is responsible for performing all clinical and radiologic tasks with the facility and license scope. Tasks also include greeting and registering patients, answering phones, booking appointments, payment collection, rooming patients, obtaining vitals, assisting the provider with medical procedures as appropriate to scope. Running POCT tests within the scope. Additionally, there may be radiology students in a local training program who will be shadowing you for their clinical rotation. Work situations include a variety of functions within the Urgent Care Center requiring knowledge and integration of available standards, resources, data, discretion, good judgement, diplomacy, decision making, team player, positive attitude, and customer service excellence. Center environment includes walk-in, and reservation based care, on a 12-hour shift with a wide variety in patient volumes throughout the shift. This position requires a highly collaborative approach to all services, within scope, at the Center.

Education

• Successful completion of a Radiology Technician education program

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations

• California Rad Tech Certification

• American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers

Technical Requirements

• Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office and email

• Knowledge of medical terminology

• Knowledge of electronic record, preferably Epic

• Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow

• Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette

• Skilled in correct grammar, spelling and punctuation

Years of Related Work Experience

• Health Care facility clinical experience required.

• 1 year previous experience as a radiology technologist including previous experience with an

electronic health record
