City Experiences is seeking a Food and Beverage Supervisor for our BCity Cruises Boston Harbor City operation.

About the Opportunity:


Supervisors will work closely with the Director of Food and Beverage to ensure that all standards are met within the entire Food and Beverage program. This includes operation of The Landing at Long Wharf and all aspects involving bar and concessions onboard our sightseeing and excursion vessels. 


About You:


This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences’ RESPECT Service System.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Supervise Food and Beverage operations. 

  • Training all Food and Beverage staff.  

  • Ensure that the company’s service standards and F&B revenues are met. 

  • Onsite customer service representative. 

  • Front of the house responsibilities including oversight of the day-to-day operations, working as a host, maintaining crowd control and orderly operation of The Landing at Long Wharf. 

  • Communicate areas that need attention to staff and follows up to ensure understanding. 

  • Work with outside vendors to ensure facility is maintained and meets company standards (equipment repairs, landscaping, general cleanliness).

  • Perform accurate cash-out procedure at shift end. 

  • Assist with scheduling crewmembers work periods to achieve maximum payroll efficiency. 

  • Oversight of closing procedures, including cleanup, breakdown, restocking, locking facility. 


  • Additional job duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications:



  • Must be able to work under pressure, agility in multitasking, and ability to make decisions. 

  • Available to work evening hours, including weekends and holidays. 

  • Must maintain high standard of service. 

  • Exceptional guest service skills.  

  • Must be able to effectively understand and convey verbal information to coworkers.  

  • Ability to lift and carry food service trays and equipment weighing 35 pounds. 

  • Ability to stand, walk, and be active for long periods of time during entire shift. 

  • Experience in restaurant or customer service industry preferred. 

  • High school diploma required. 

  • Bachelor's degree preferred. 

  • “TIPS” certification and ServSafe required.
