The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Quality and Data Systems Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most creative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Leading the Business Group by developing a standardized process for complaint handling globally to deliver a consistent and positive customer experience.


• Partner with Enterprise Operation team to advocate for system enhancements to meet business requirements and optimize our process globally.


• Developing, coaching, and supporting a high performing US Quality Direct team.


• Responsible for executing on key metrics, building out reporting capabilities and driving timely resolution of complaints through tier management process.


• Compliance to ISO9001, IATF16949 and AS9100 quality standards as it pertains to complaint management activities.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution


• Five (5) years combined Quality, Product Engineering, and/or Manufacturing/Production experience within a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution


• Previous experience leading global teams through process change management


• Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and lead change


• Quality Management and/or leadership experience in a quality, manufacturing, six sigma, supply chain and/or laboratory environment


• Experience in working with global extended value stream and customer supply chain 


• Experience in working with global Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) customers 


• Experience working with ISO9001, IATF16949, and AS9100 quality standards


• Experience with Salesforce, Lotus Notes databases, Power BI, and Microsoft Office applications

Travel:  May include up to 10% domestic/international
