This is a vital role within the Marketing Dept. that includes managing many key functions such as: Brand Content Management, Sales Agency Engagement and Support, Monthly Business Review, Forecasting, Pricing, Product Management, Product Commercialization, and E-Commerce Business Management
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Brand Content Management
Create, Update and Revise all Branded Sales Support Tools and Brochures
Work with Fulfilment Company to ensure ample stock is on hand
Ensure all branded materials are posted on the Marketing Media Library
Manage all Website branded content at customculinary.com
Sales Agency Engagement and Support
Review Sales Agency Media Library on a Quarterly Bases to ensure most recent and active content is posted
Manage content and communication flow with Sales Agency – Sales and Marketing Teams
Develop and communicate Sales Support Tools for Quarterly Drive or Focus periods (4X)
Ensure that Custom Culinary® BDM’s has all the tools and support they need for educating and training our Sales Agency Sales Team on the Branded portfolio
Analyze and synthesize Sales Agency Sales Call Data via Tableau Monthly
Other Activities as assigned
Monthly Business Review Support
Pull and summarize Brand Sales Data from internal financial reporting system every month
Review data with Brand Director and discuss key insights and trends and pull additional information as required
Monthly Forecast Review and Update
Attend Monthly Forecast Meetings
Update Brand product forecast monthly
Pricing Management
Manage Branded Price List and all updates
Handle customer Pricing Request from the Sales Team
Review/ Approve customer deals in Blacksmith
Support Branded Price Increase activity as needed
Brand Label Management
Manage the process flow of all new and updated Branded Product Labels
Utilize ProofHQ to manage and track all Brand label changes and updates
Work closely with R&D and Regulatory to support and mange label process
Brand Innovation Support
Support Brand Director with New Product Innovation and Line Extensions
Work as part of the development and commercialization teams
Develop sales tools and brochures to support new product launches
Manage communication with Custom Culinary® Sales and Sales Agency
Develop labels and packaging for all new items
E-Commerce Business Management
Review Orders Daily to ensure order fulfilment is accurate and timely
Address any store issues that come up with Miron
Create Monthly Business reports for Finance
Develop E-Commerce Communication Strategy and Plan
Update Store Content and products as needed
Sample Program Management
Manage all aspects of the Dot Sample Program
Run Key Sample Report each week
Ensure entire sales team is properly aligned on the Dot system for e-mail confirmations
Review Billing for accuracy
Manage active sample item list
Manage sales team access parameters
Set up new sample items at Dot
Working Relationships:
Internal:
Reports to Director of Brand Marketing
Will work closely with the Field Sales Organization as well of other members of the Marketing Team and Culinary.
Will work closely with R&D on specific product development or enhancement projects as assigned
External:
As the Assoc. Brand Manager, this individual will be working closely with our Sales Agency contacts
Will work with external vendors such as Ad Agency, Fulfillment Agency, Printing vendors etc.
Will have customer interaction via National and Local Food Show events and activities.
Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelors Degree with emphasis in Marketing or Business Administration
Minimum of 2 years of work/intern experience in brand marketing or related field
Strong analytical skills with advanced knowledge of Excel or other Spreadsheet software
Familiar with using various creative software to develop presentations and enhance existing communication tools
Ability to creatively use the Internet for performing market research
