What you will do Come join Open Blue Security team and be a part of our digital transformation journey! We are an exciting “stealth mode” startup within Johnson Controls and our mission it to build the future of “perfectly protected” world.
We are currently looking for candidates to be in charge of defining Open Blue’s cloud strategy and development activities. You will be working closely with software development and testing teams to design, implement and optimize Open Blue Security cloud native applications and services.
How you will do it
Analyze current technology utilized within the company and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them.
Work with internal teams (e.g. sales, support, etc) and external clients to troubleshoot and resolve product issues.
Support customer escalations and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Oversee releases and management of all servers and endpoints.
Provide continuous review of infrastructure and constantly monitor the performance of existing applications.
Ensure all cloud application services and underlying MS Azure infrastructure are properly monitored and configured. • Be the point of contact of all DevOps activities.
Provide tactical oversight for all internal Security requirements.
Plan, coordinate, and implement security programs and policies.
Drive patch and vulnerability management efforts.
Shall provide status of their efforts on a daily (morning Scrum) and weekly (Team Huddle) basis.
What we look for
Required
All applicants must have bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
At least 10+ years of enterprise management of Linux, OS X, and Windows to include hardening of OS, and virtualization environments. • Experience deploying engineering applications for a large corporation. • Possess strong scripting skills that can be leveraged to automate and improve systems.
Experience with IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS offerings, in particular MS Azure.
Experience with container deployment technologies.
Familiarity with automated build (Jenkins) and test tools. Experience with source code version control (git).
Experience setting up and maintaining computer/server and Network Infrastructures. Perform network troubleshooting to diagnose and isolate network problems.
Capable of supporting internal team members and external customers effectively in a geographically dispersed environment
Knowledge of information Security principles and CI/CD best practices.
Capable of working individually, or with a large team comprised of multiple
disciplines.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Working knowledge of
Agile/Scrum/Kanban a plus.
Strong written and verbal communications.
Preferred
Master’s Degree
Working knowledge of rapid development concepts with Scrum/Agile is a plus.
