Job Description:

The Inventory Accuracy Clerk is responsible for monitoring inventory through a database and correcting all inefficiencies and inaccuracy of inventory levels. Performs and leads cycle counts to ensure that all materials are properly verified to be reflective of reported inventory. Supports the organization in maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity. • Monitors and maintains current inventory levels.• Provides root cause analysis of discrepancies in inventory to recommend preventative measures.• Evaluates transactions and movements in SAP database to resolve count discrepancies.• Identifies and escalates as appropriate issues regarding inaccurate inventory levels.• Records all inventory changes and inputs inventory data into SAP.• Performs research to determine if an adjustment needs to be made to correct any inaccurate inventory levels.• Analyzes inventory data to determine accuracy in systematic movements made in SAP.• Communicates daily with cross-functional teams to assist with resolving count discrepancies.• Reclassifies parts that have changed by placing new labels on all inventory parts and updating the SAP database.• Performs inventory cycle counts on raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and non-conforming materials on a daily basis.• Counts and reconciles randomly chosen part numbers and/or locations on a daily basis.• Required to operate forklift to obtain materials located out of arm reach.• Identifies any non-conforming parts and moves them to quality.• Assist in developing solutions to shortages, overages, and inventory discrepancies.• Ensures compliance and safety of all activities within the organization standards and policies.• Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.• Possesses a stable work history and a strong personal desire to work safely and maintain a safe working environment.• Proven inventory experience with reconciling discrepancies in inventory levels.• Experience working in a warehouse environment safely operating facility material handling equipment (e.g. forklift, pallet jacks, automated storage & retrieval systems, carousel) and picking and packing equipment (e.g. scanner, scale, tape machine).• Experience operating various forklifts (order filler, stand-up reach, sit down electric, scissor lift).• Familiarity with how inventory moves throughout a manufacturing plant. • Experience working with large ERP systems (SAP preferred).• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).• Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks and pallets with accuracy and efficiency.• Possesses good hand-eye coordination and is able to perform detailed work with a strong attention to detail and quality.• Position is required to work efficiently in a fast pace, multi-tasking environment, with a sense of urgency while keeping correct data.• Position is required to be able to lift up to 40 pounds, perform repetitious duties and walk or stand for long periods of time on a daily basis.• Information management skills with the ability to collect information, communicate it and process it to enable managers to make a quicker and better decision.• Highly organized with ability to work independently as well as part of a team.• Exhibits integrity through fair and ethical behaviors in all activities; maintains accountability for performance.• Strong attention to detail with well-developed organizational and communication skills.It is thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America's policy to recruit, hire, and promote qualified personnel in all job classifications without regard to race, creed, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, national origin, disability or veteran status.
