SENIOR CRM TECHNICAL ANALYST: This position will work within the Pape Group CRM team and help to analyze the technical needs for software integrations, governance, design and architecture considerations for the Salesforce instance. They will work as a liaison in a cross-functional environment between the CRM run team and key business stakeholders/partners when there are technical needs for new projects, or updates needed for existing integrations. We are seeking candidates who have a strong background with Salesforce experience.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Help design/create solutions for business problems and process improvements using Salesforce Technology.

  • Collaborate with the CRM team to evaluate business goals, identify business problems, and design and propose innovative solutions to meet the needs of the business.

  • Work with the CRM team to understand the goal, vision and strategy for new Salesforce products.

  • Identify areas of process improvements and build automated solutions to increase efficiency and productivity.

  • Drive some of the Salesforce software engineering phases including requirements analysis, architecture and application design.

  • Ensure CRM team is building reusable components, frameworks and libraries which can be leveraged across department.

  • Ensure solution and delivery team follows best practices and improve application performance.

  • Collaborate with the CRM team to increase the value realization of Salesforce products, by driving the re-use of existing Salesforce solutions.

  • Work very closely with the CRM architecture groups and drive solutions to improve enterprise governance of Salesforce products.

  • Research, identify, and recommend industry best practices for solving business problems, and design/build new Proof-of-Concepts for new innovative solutions.

  • Lead and provide technical support to Salesforce delivery teams.

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business or equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years of technology experience in a medium or large organization.

  • Certified Salesforce Developer.

  • Proven experience with Visualforce and APEX.

  • Mobile experience using Salesforce1 Platform.

  • Proven experience taking highly conceptual business need and translate into a solution that can be

effectively implemented.

  • Experience with product development life cycle and software testing, which includes devising unit
test plans, creating unit test cases, establishing unit testing protocols and appropriate testing

environments, coordinate and execute software testing.


  • Experience with data structures, data modeling, and database schema.

  • Experience with declarative solutions including creation of custom objects, workflows, approvals,

email alerts, field updates, outbound messages and communication templates.


  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with various roles at all levels in the organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to independently analyze and design complex solutions within a tight deadline.

  • Demonstrated ability to capture business requirements, translate those requirements to

technical/business solution options, and be able to communicate those effectively back to the

customer, both from a technical aspect and from a business aspect.

  • Proven ability to effectively communicate complex ideas, issues, concepts and solutions to all levels
of the organization, including executive leadership and the business.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • 3 to 5 years of experience implementing Sales and/or Customer Service projects.

  • 3 to 5 years of experience with Salesforce.com Sales, Service, Marketing and/or Custom Cloud.

  • Experience with Change Sets, force.com IDE.

  • Experience working with 3rd party delivery partners and AppExchange vendors is a plus.

  • Experience with AppExchange App comparisons, selection, and implementation.

  • Gather user and system requirements as use cases.

  • Experience with Agile SCRUM development methodology.

  • Experience with Apex, VisualForce, APIs programming.

  • Experience with middleWare tools like Dell Boomi, Informatica, JitterBit or similar.

  • Business process capture and automation in Salesforce.

  • Solved Salesforce problems and recommended solutions.

  • Experience with Solution architecture.

  • Facilitated business processes capture across multiple departments.

Key Salesforce Fundamental Skills Knowledge:


  • Effects of using base-system objects.

  • Localization features and capabilities and how they affect coding.

  • Data Modeling and Management:

    • Apex managed sharing.

    • External IDs.

    • Types of custom metadata and custom settings.



  • Logic and Process Automation:

    • Interactions between multiple processes, both declarative and programmatic.

    • Apex methods for Lightning Web Components.

    • Apex triggers best practices.




  • SOQL and SOSL queries return types and impact on variable assignment.

  • Using asynchronous or batch Apex coding.

  • DML statements and types of database events.


  • User Interface:

    • Visualforce controllers.

    • Lightning Web Component and their Apex controller class.

    • Lightning vs Visualforce.

    • Appropriate logic and query structure to maximize application performance.



  • Asynchronous callouts.

  • Code reuse scenarios.

  • Debug and Deployment Tools.
