Background

Chubb’s Major Accounts Division has put forward a vision that centralizes insights around our clients; harmonizes the end-to-end underwriting processes to rate, quote, bind, and issue business; and delivers risk assessment and underwriting tools in an intuitive platform for all stakeholders.

 Responsibility

In this role, the successful candidate will devise, lead, and support the transformation of Major Accounts workflows into a digital experience. Initial efforts will include surveying the various product lines to document an understanding of existing workflows and data streams. This deliverable will provide key decision makers with a comprehensive view of current activity, though the candidate will be expected to recommend prioritization based on pre-agreed technological and business principles. The successful candidate will then liaise with senior underwriting, digital, IT, and support area colleagues to plan and execute solutions using the agile development framework.

To be effective, the successful candidate must be able to articulate the organizational, functional, procedural, and information aspects of the business environment. The candidate must also work as a change agent and act as a bridge to foster digital experiences, continuous improvement, and innovation.

 Requirements

• Career background in large, complex, multinational insurance with a minimum of 7 years of insurance experience


• Detail-oriented approach with keen prioritization skills and strong personal motivation


• Ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences to convey ideas


• Principle-based decision framework and desire to challenge status quo thought and work patterns


• Adept in understanding technology and able to showcase, defend, and examine end use cases


• Demonstrated thought leadership experience to deliver complex objectives via concrete execution


• Ability to maintain timelines, streamline cross-functional dependencies, and increase efficiency and velocity of project execution


• Experience producing strategies, timelines, and project health reports to stakeholders throughout a project’s life cycle


• Agile project development experience

Preferences

• Direct experience working with software engineering and/or enterprise architecture colleagues


• Prior program or project management experience as a requirements author and solution presenter


• Technical knowledge in Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Azure, or similar


• Basic understanding of programming concepts and languages
