Head of Q2C Organizational Change Management (Remote) - Advanced Technology Group at Cognizant

Position Overview:

The Head of the Q2C OCM practice will design and establish the Change Management organization for ATG, partner with the ATG leadership team to embed OCM capabilities within the organization, and work directly with clients and in cross-organizational initiatives to establish and expand OCM as a new capability, practice, and thought leadership domain.

Role Responsibilities:


  • Design, build and lead the Q2C OCM organization for ATG

  • Create a talent acquisition pipeline to support the business need for OCM resources and scale to meet demand

  • Lead the approach and development of sustainable communication, training and change management activities

  • Collaborate with ATG leaders to develop the change competency across the overall organization

  • Coach executive leaders, both internally and on the client side, on effective change leadership practices

  • Quickly build an understanding of the client's business, situation, and desired outcome(s)

  • Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies across multiple projects for clients and sell OCM advisory, OCM workstream and OCM Implementations services on major transformation accounts

  • Utilize Head of OCM on key accounts with utilization target of 33%

    • Advisory Projects

    • SME on Transformation Accounts

    • OCM Strategist with scaled support from Cognizant and ATG resources to act as Lead



  • Contribute to ATG methodology, practice innovation, and offerings development overall

  • Contribute to market thought leadership content creation and review

  • Contribute to training and developing consultants within the practice and across the overall organization

  • Contribute to local and regional culture and community engagement initiatives

  • Contribute to IP creation

  • Thought leader and change agent for internal ATG and Cognizant Salesforce Practice organizational evolution

  • Assist in potential Merger and Acquisitions due diligence and acquisition preparation

Key Experience:


  • Establishing, creating, and scaling OCM teams, capabilities and operating models to support complex technology and business transformation initiatives

  • Deploying an OCM capability from start to finish: Design, implementation, SIT, UAT, Deployment

  • Partnering with various levels of leadership, across business and technical teams, to design and implement change management strategies to increase adoption of technical solutions for business needs

  • Being the primary organizational or client advisor

  • Leading end-to-end review of Q2C landscape through people, processes and technology to formulate vision, achieve executive alignment and define short- and long-term objectives prioritized by business value

  • Establishing strategic plan and business case justification

  • Demonstrating success and experience in the following areas: Proven experience working on multiple Quote to Cash (Q2C) platforms involving Commerce, CPQ, CLM, CRM, Billing, or ERP enterprise transformations (including e-Business, SaaS applications, or cloud-based transformations/integrations) highly desired

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:


  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA, or advanced degree in Org Development, Leadership, Communications or other related field preferred

  • 10+ years leading teams, with experience leading OCM teams across multiple complex projects

  • Prosci certification or other Change Management certification strongly preferred

  • Curiosity for technology, what drives the business, and understanding how individual stakeholders approach their roles

  • Ability to anticipate obstacles, offer solutions, identify resources and influence others to move toward a common vision or goal

  • Willingness to commit the additional time and effort necessary during period of heavy workload in order to meet project milestones and delivery deadlines

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with cross-functional teams internally and at a client

  • Excellent communication skills with audiences of all levels

  • Firm, decisive, and willing to make unpopular decisions when necessary


  • Ability to skillfully navigate ambiguity and achieve superior results in a fast-paced and demanding environment

  • High emotional intelligence and empathy for how employees experience the change curve

  • Excellent problem solving, design thinking, and analytical skills

Relevant Technologies:


  • Transformations related to multiple Quote to Cash (Q2C) platforms including: Commerce, CPQ, CLM, CRM, Billing, or ERP enterprise transformations (including e-Business, SaaS applications, or cloud-based transformations/integrations) highly desired

  • Experience with Salesforce.com highly desired

Performance Targets:


  • Grow the team: Assess need, design the OCM organizational structure, create a talent acquisition roadmap, and train OCM consultants as needed by the business

  • Utilize: 33% utilization target with a market competitive executive bill rate

  • Pull Through: Direct responsibility for OCM performance and revenue targets

Travel:


  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% (subject to change at any time based off project demands)
