Job Description:

The Director of Scales Management is responsible for aligning the strategy of the Scale Management team with the overall Business Operations and WCG MA-PP business goals and objectives. This role is an integral part of the Business Operations leadership team and is expected to successfully contribute to the achievement of the collective goals of the entire team. This person will interact with the WCG MA-PP Executive team to ensure that all project deliverables are met within the parameters of our contractual obligation to our clients. This role will be responsible for the overall leadership of the Scale Management team by overseeing the translations/licensing staff and their activities in support of scale development within the Business Operations team, as well as the relationships and activities of the associated vendors.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree (master's preferred) in applicable field.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:


  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in translations, licensing, or project management in a technology space; combination of two or more is preferred.

  • 5 years of proven leadership/management experience.

  • Demonstrated experience in leading teams of various disciplines.

  • Demonstrated experience in leading various workstreams across multiple programs or projects.

  • Demonstrated experience in successfully integrating third-party vendors.

  • Demonstrated ability to accomplish departmental objectives in a highly dynamic and time regulated environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate effective communication, cooperation, respect and teamwork.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent collaborative and interpersonal relationship skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Establish the strategy of the Scales Management team to align with the overall Business Operations team objectives, while ensuring that all deliverables are met in a timely and accurate manner to ultimately achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.

  • Work collaboratively with the Business Operations leadership team and other internal leaders to create, operationalize, and improve the current Scale Management processes and procedures.

  • Establish and oversee vendor strategy and management to ensure quality implementation and strict adherence to timelines and SLAs on all projects.

  • Oversight of Scale Management team to promote collaboration and alignment with the goals and objectives of the Business Operations team.

  • Provide leadership for the Scale Management team while partnering with Human Capital Management to motivate and development talent, addressing development or performance issues to optimize business performance.

  • Driving compliance and process adherence by Scale Management team to ensure that all processes are followed while still meeting the client needs and delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction.

  • Participate in sponsor meetings and provide support with both internal and sponsor audits, as required,

  • Develop and track KPIs in order to make informed strategic business decisions and consistently maintain visibility of the overall health of the team and project deliverables

  • Develop process improvement and SOPs that drive efficiencies to reduce project timelines and maintain or enhance quality.

  • Provide updates on project activity to the Executive team and other departments as required.

  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor. These may, on occasion, be unrelated to the position described here.

  • Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the position.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:The position will have direct leadership responsibilities of a highly functioning professional team.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to travel domestic and internationally, approximately 10% of the time, including overnight stays as necessary, consistent with business needs and office location.
