Job Description

Position Summary

The Channel Marketing Intern will assist in leading the development and implementation of marketing programming that will drive volume, profit, and share within the P&M channel. This role will assist in leading these activities by building alignment with customers (wholesalers and contractors), sales enablement (internally and externally), brand marketing, digital, programs, marketing analytics and product management teams to develop, implement and measure integrated, comprehensive marketing programs that align with the strategic priorities of the business - while increasing demand and preference for Zurn products and services.

Responsibilities


  • Assist in developing, recommending, and implementing marketing strategies, plans, programs, and measures to support and grow sales while improving profitability and competitive position.


  • Analyze programs and recommend strategic improvements based on wholesaler voice of customer.


  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Team on strategy and tactics for trade advertising and sponsorships.


  • Determine content delivery for key marketing events and manage internal content development to align with event goals.


  • Coordinate execution of channel events to maximize attendance and results gained from each event.


Qualifications

Experience and Skill Required


  • Must currently be pursuing a Bachelor's degree


  • GPA of 3.5 or higher strongly preferred


  • Proficient skills with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook


  • Basic Photoshop skills preferred but not required


  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills


  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and in team environments


  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
