JOB DESCRIPTION

The Asset Management role will support the Bank with ordering of IT hardware and software, as well as manage processes, strategies, and technologies that support a full lifecycle approach to managing all IT assets of our corporate infrastructure.

* Executes processes related to routine purchases of hardware and software. Ensures requested items meet acceptable criteria for purchase according to regulations and procedures, places orders, receives and verifies products, and schedules installations with users and local technology staff.

* Processes purchase requests, ensuring compliance with Bank policy and supplying payment. Reconciles purchases and ensures appropriate departments receive costs.

* Coordinates the relocation, retirement, and disposal of hardware and software with local technology staff, vendors, and law enforcement staff. Observes the removal of equipment by disposal vendor and reconciles account balances based on the vendor's assessed value.

* Updates and reviews asset databases to track hardware expiration dates, ensure software licensing allocation, and monitor inventory levels. Compiles database reports and follows up with department liaisons or management to resolve non-compliance issues. Verifies inventory and checks against database to account for assets.

* Serves as a point of contact for department liaisons. Conducts basic research and provides information on the purchase of new hardware and software products, to include compiling pricing options and discussing basic budget implications.

* Ensures proper hardware and software contracts and licenses are obtained for expired or new assets.

* Engages senior specialists and/or management for assistance or guidance when working through customer inquiries.
