Responsibilities/Duties
Essential Duties and Functions
Create an environment that empowers individuals through the development of skills and coordination of resources and supportive services.
Oversee the quality of programmatic, health, and facilitative services by ensuring that the needs of individuals served are met and necessary services and supports are provided
Complete and review annual assessments and progress summaries for all consumers, all monthly and quarterly progress notes, and lifetime medical histories.
Write instructional plans for the implementation of goals, objectives, and outcomes to implement consumer long and short-term goals and train all staff in the implementation of ISPs annually.
Required Experience
Two years' experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities - *Bachelors Degree or
Five years' experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities -*Associates Degree
Required Education
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of two years' experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities. or
Associates Degree with a minimum of 60 credits andfive years' experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Required Qualifications
Valid Drivers License
Program Summary
Mainstay United offers a supervised community-based residential program designed to provide a range of established and innovative rehabilitation strategies for adults with developmental disabilities and problematic sexual behaviors who are in need of clinical/forensic treatment. The program focuses on community and personal safety, accountability, competence, least restrictive alternative, normalization, due process, and control.
