Computer Programmer Architect Production Lead

Position Summary:


Potawatomi Training, LLC is seeking a qualified Computer Programmer Architect Production Lead who must have sixor more years of experience in the development of Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI), Websites, Rich Internet Applications, Native Mobile Apps, Mobile Web Apps, Serious and Casual Games, Augmented Reality, and Virtual Reality applications.


This position manages all Sim, Gaming, and VR programs and activities for the organization to include:



  • Assist in the development software documentation to support the program

  • Additional requirements include mentoring of new employees/staffing, boost morale and teamwork, ensure all projects scheduled delivery times.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:



  • SIM/Gaming/VR Lead for IMI development, assist in delivery production.

  • Lead development of templatized, 508 compliant, SCORM 2004 3rd Edition IMI training delivery framework for US Federal clients using HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, and JSON.

  • Use Unity and C# to develop xAPI capable mobile and AR/VR apps leveraging IBM's Watson AI Cloud services


Languages, Software, Frameworks:


Languages: C++, C, C#, x86 Assembly, HLSL, GLSL, LUA, Javascript, XML, WPF, .NET Framework, TorqueScript


APIs: DirectX, OpenGL, Maya MEL, FMOD, Wwise, SAP Visual Enterprise


Software: Unity, MS Visual Studio, MS Visio, MS Office, Hansoft, UDK, Torsion, Eclispe


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Instructional Technology/Media, or other relevant field, and

  • Five or more years' experience, preferably supporting military customers.

  • Prior experience in performing technology-based training design/development work for U.S. Navy clients is preferred.


Desired Experience:



  • An understanding of adult learning in the simulation, augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR) domains.

  • Firsthand knowledge of AR/VR hardware such as Oculus and HTC, HoloLens, and Magic Leap headsets, to include the training use cases each would support and the hardware requirements for each.

  • Understanding of the game engines used to create AR/VR experiences, such as Unity, Unreal, Lumberyard, and Stingray.

  • Understanding of UX in AR/VR.

  • Experience in design/development of simulations, AR, and VR experiences for learning.

  • Experience working with SMEs to identify training requirements, task process/procedures, etc.

  • Experience working as a member of training development teams.

  • Experience working in a Government contracting environment strongly preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills with ability to work in a dynamic and flexible environment where priorities and deadlines may change.
