SUMMARY: Assist in the creation and editing of content for Kraft Sports & Entertainment with primary focus on the New England Patriots and emphasis on front of camera work.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conducting on-camera interviews
Acting as host/moderator of video shows and segments
Hosting live events
Editing and writing content for Patriots.com, the Patriots app and Patriots social media accounts
Interface with other content producers including editors, graphic artists, video editors and producers.
Contributing as talent for various digital and broadcast content pieces and shows.
Contributing as talent for Patriots radio shows and podcasts.
Assisting in identifying suitable content for Patriots.com, the Patriots app and Patriots social media.
Assist in the creation of the annual Patriots yearbook including articles, features and theme.
Travel to various Patriots/NFL events as needed.
Contributing content ideas
Research
Editing material received
Writing new content and communicating with relevant contacts to gather information
Developing stories
Securing approval for publishing online
Conducting interviews
Attending press conferences
Attending Patriots-related events
Special projects and assignments as business dictates
Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPPA
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities
Qualifications
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree
Minimum two years professional experience producing content for a media outlet, team, league or agency w/published work
Experience as on-camera talent
Experience producing written work
Experience in publishing content to the Internet using a content management system
Ability to meet deadlines
Strong proofreading skills
Strong knowledge of football, the NFL and the New England Patriots
Experience with Adobe suite of programs (Photoshop, Premier etc.) a plus
