Computer Systems Analyst I
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, performs analyst duties relevant to maintenance operations, SAMS-IE, GCSS-A, and associated software and hardware components.
MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:
Reports directly to the Maintenance Manager on matters pertaining to the SAMS-IE and the maintenance information management system.
1.Performs basic fact finding and analysis of maintenance processes and procedures.
2.Conducts analysis of maintenance processes in order to identify problem areas, prepare status reports, or provide other types of information as requested.
3.Follows the guidance and instructions from Supervisor or higher level analyst.
4.Capable of working independently and resolving simple or routine problems.
5.May offer technical assistance to other personnel in the maintenance area.
6.Performs other duties as assigned, and may occasionally perform other duties for the purpose of familiarization and/or training.
7.Be capable of learning new system's that are specific to a given work area for equipment tracking purposes; having an advanced understanding of Microsoft Officewith the ability to perform Microsoft Access Administration and Development

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
This position requires an individual who is extremely organized, can manage multiple priorities, and is capable of meeting strict timeframes. The ideal candidate is a positive, flexible, team oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, client focused setting.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
Work requires standing, climbing, bending, and occasionally working in cramped and awkward positions. Employee stands for long periods. Frequently lifts equipment weighing 30lbs. occasionally assists lifting and carrying equipment weighing up to 75 pounds. If employee fails to follow appropriate safety procedures, there could be exposure to cuts, bruises, shocks, and strains.. May be required to work an uncommon tour of duty including nights, weekends, and holidays. Must comply with OSHA, EPA, Fire Regulations and published Company work rules.
EDUCATION:
High School graduate or equivalent. Some formal training in computer systems preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Three years' experience with the Army's Maintenance Management System is required, although formal training/education may be substituted for experience if directly relevance to the position requirements. Some familiarity with the Army's Supply System and its interface with maintenance operations is necessary.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a CAC if required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Driver's License if required.
