Position Description:
We are seeking an Analyst or Associate to work with our Vice President, Marketing Business Manager. In this role, you will gain exposure to marketing operations, business management processes, marketing analytics and reporting, corporate marketing, as well as other initiatives that further the firm's strategic goals. The role will include a balance of foundational responsibilities, supporting day-to-day functional operations, and also strategic and creative contributions to integrated marketing initiatives and corporate projects. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Partner with Vice President, Marketing Business Manager on critical and highly visible strategic projects, helping to build capacity across the Marketing function by enhancing business management principles and processes including but not limited to finance, budget management, strategic planning, and reporting
Provide day-to-day execution and project management, including managing key deliverables, planning calendars, data gathering, team coordination
Employ creative thinking and innovation to create possible alternative solutions, and use judgment to determine methods and procedures on new assignments, often with minimal guidance
Liaise with key partners in Finance, Strategy, HR and Executive Office on projects and requests
Support and/or enhance cadence and structure of marketing reporting
Liaise with contacts at external partners, including advertising agency, digital consultants, etc.
Help support the budgeting process, including the creation and management of multi-year budget
Own ongoing expense management process including procurement activities, major project expenditure tracking, T&E transparency and oversight etc. to ensure the firm is maximizing resources and investments
Position Requirements:
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
2-5 years of experience with project management, preferably within a marketing or finance focused role
Familiarity with and interest in the Marketing function
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Proficiency in SQL a plus
Demonstrated competence in thinking strategically, analytically, conceptually, and innovatively, including the ability to synthesize and analyze data, teasing out accessible and impactful stories
Experience working with global teams in different time zones desirable
