Job Summary
As an intelligence analyst, you will help the client understand the operational landscape. Using your understanding of various collection platforms, you will explore new data sources, build effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources and open source. You will validate the information and apply client tradecraft as you build assessments for warfighters, senior policymakers, and the US intelligence community. Provide the right information at the right time to support the critical needs of our warfighters and our nation's leaders.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferred (in International Affairs, Political Science, Foreign Area Studies, or National Security Studies or MA or MS degree preferred in International Affairs, Political Science, Foreign Area Studies, National Security Studies, or a related).
Four or more years of operational experience with intelligence analysis, US government all-source analytic production, or specialized intelligence analysis training focused on Levant/Middle East.
Demonstrated experience in conducting analysis of foreign military capabilities in a dynamic environment and developing / producing associated analytics products.
Knowledge of US IC and Combatant Command environments.
Experience with strategic intelligence writing and tradecraft.
Ability to develop high-quality deliverables tailored to clients who range from tactical to strategic levels, including actionable leads, complex written products, and formal or informal briefings.
Knowledge of ICD 203 analytic tradecraft standards.
Desired:
Experience with working with collection managers and crafting requirements.
Knowledge of Levant/Middle Eastern culture, military, religion, foreign policy, or politics.
Ability to provide shift work support, if required.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
Normal office environment.
Travel
Local travel within the National Capital Region up to 10%.
