Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


Conducts full cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, and entering new hire information into our UltiPro HRIS.


Prepare, and analyze HR reports related to Recruiting. Prepare monthly HR human resources reports to track and report new hires, separations, and employee population data. Audit for accuracy and communicate to other organizations and management as needed.


Administer pre-employment background checks, motor vehicle record checks and drug screens. Ensure all aspects of new hire pre-employment process are complete prior to employee start date.


Schedule and conduct new employee orientation and assist with the seamless transition of new employees into the company. Enroll new employees in benefit plans and provide benefits orientation.


Maintain new hire packets with the most up-to-date information. Ensure employee files are up to date and green sheets are processed in a timely manner.


Conduct exit interviews to determine reasons behind separation. Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation.


Maintains knowledge of legal requirements affecting the recruitment function and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. Maintain confidentiality of data and sensitive information.


Responsible for the administration of the summer internship program.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience


Bachelor's Degree, plus a minimum of 3 years related experience in Human Resources; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's Degree, SHRM PHR or SPHR preferred.


Language Skills


Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.


Mathematical Skills


Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.


Reasoning Ability


Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.


Computer Skills


Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Advanced knowledge of Human Resource systems such as ADP, and advanced internet skills.
