Your role in a nutshell



  • Study and establish all processes within Supply Chain team. Identify gaps, and work across departments to execute proper fix with-in system.

  • Build and implement the Supply Chain Channel strategy aligned with Sales, Commercial, and Marketing teams expectations and growth aspirations within The Body Shop.

  • To act as a role model and ensure consistent delivery of high class customer service across the teams driving results for all channels through delivering product to support Event Plans and achieve Sales budgets.

  • Working with our Supply Chain team to deliver on long term purchase plans driving agility in the supply chain, responsible for reporting KPI's covering fulfilment of these Purchase Plans.

  • Manage inventory levels across multiple DC locations to ensure product is available to support all channel customer requirements.

  • Collecting and analyzing supply chain data. Recommending improvements to boost performance, reduce costs and mitigate risks. Coordinate with other professionals to implement changes and more efficient reporting practises.

Key Job Accountabilities



  • Manage and maintain systematic testing and data integrity checks frequently. Identify maintenance opportunities and train analysts in order to implement, and advise proper frequency of integrity checks to ensure all channel customers experience high quality service.

  • Implement action plans to support both Demand Planning and Analyst teams with inventory data to maximize KPI requirement for both accuracy and fill rates.

  • Proactively manage proper catalog and execute transition of product (PIPO) as to not impact any/all channels to ensure no risk of out of stock, and maximize sales.

  • Manage stock levels over multiple DC locations to ensure proper distribution of stock to support and provide best customer service.

  • Cross departmental communication to ensure all channels are aligned is crititcal.

  • Initiate optimization opportunites for Analysts, ensuring minimal impact to other departments.

  • To manage the KPI reporting proactively highlighting issues and working with markets and the MSL to manage short stock situations.

  • Proactive analysis of all markets to ensure call out in advance if there are any associated risks.

  • To ensure all queries and issues (including operational and quality issues) from all channel analysts are dealt with in a timely manner consistently.

  • Identify efficiencies in the distribution of product to the customer e.g. pallet quantities.

  • Ensure the sharing and reliability of information related to the clients within the organisation (Demand Planning, Physical distribution, sales, controlling).

  • Develop the collaboration with our clients (data exchanges, shared KPIs, flows optimization, cost follow-up, OSA, stock in trade, B to B portal, etc.)

  • Analyze inbound shipments to ensure MRP run supports proper stock holding.

  • Create and present KPI analysis to ELT monthly in S&OP.

  • Seek to improve all aspects of the supply chain department by reviewing current methodology and processes

  • Commercially control spend within your specific remit, working creatively and in a SMART way to reduce both overall costs whilst increasing efficiency

  • To perform other related duties as assigned or requested

  • Responsible for maintaining the ethical standards of The Body Shop including minimising the environmental, health and safety risks in the workplace and responsible for reporting potential risks, real accidents and near misses to relevant managers

  • Champions, supports and participates in The Body Shop Biodiversity

  • Exceptional ability to conceptualize large-picture projects and foresee challenges/risks and needs to be addressed

What we look for



  • Advanced/ Expert Excel. (Excel Test will be Given)

  • 3-5 Years Experience in delivering consistent Supply Chain/ Merchandising/Customer Care, in a retail environment.

  • Understanding of Event planning and NPD process.

  • Experience and evidence of influencing cross functionally at a management level.

  • Understanding of supply chain/customer care best practice.

  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of retail supply chain with experience of detailed product planning and order fulfilment.

  • A proven track record of improving supply chain operational processes.

  • Supplier/Franchise/Wholesale experience.

  • Experience in team management and development, or a demonstrable commitment to wanting to develop these skills
