SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The RGM Customer Investment Strategy Team Leader develops and drives the Customer investment strategy framework and enhancements for KCP North America RGM. He/she is responsible for leading the North America business to deliver the strategic customer investment framework aligned with NA business strategies and consistent with category direction, understanding market dynamics to achieve effective and efficient long-term strategic customer investment plans and short-term operating actions, for a strong return on investment result and P&L benefit. The role is broad in scope, encompassing developing and updating GIP, Dispenser and Promotion strategy and control frameworks, linking with category on Dispenser and Promotion business driving activity and correct positioning to unlock market business as well as dimensioning and leading the coordination of implementation – the team will also ensure clear parameters and decision making criteria for effective and efficient customer investment review and approvals.

The role will be a highly visible, indispensable partner in achievement of business objectives.

The position works closely with multiple senior leaders to influence and drive impact, responsible for developing and driving change in the customer investment, GIP, Promotion, Dispenser strategies and value realization of KCP NA.

Proactively bring forward insights and ideas to clarifying strategic choices and bring a point of view to the table that influences the direction of the organization regarding investment approach           enhancements. Take accountability to deliver results that have a meaningful impact on leading to higher NRR delivery.

Development of specific recommendations of RGM strategies and tactics. This will require a data analytics approach to understand the current GIP, Dispenser, Promotion structures and approaches and how to strategically game plan to higher value realization in the markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Act as a central driver and shaper of the strategic interaction for Customer Investment with Category and Sales. Additionally with ITS across NA on the customer investment strategy and putting it into practice via enhanced systems and tools.

•Drive strategic customer investment reviews and data requirements with full P&L visibility with Category, Sales and NALT to ensure robust analysis insight and action for maximizing ROI realization. Driving action to deliver NRR improvements.

•Proactively bring forward insights and ideas to clarifying strategic choices from Customer Investment and Commercial Terms reviews – driving deeper and wider review and action based on insight derived.

•Lead strategic contract and commercial terms reviews in development of a clear headline standard approach for any customer contract, alongside Legal. Utilizing systems for clear and robust customer contract details and taking ownership of the exception process for collation and review and decisions

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Educated to Degree Level and / or at least 5 years of experience in related roles and/or fields

Experience: The incumbent must have a high degree of financial competence and prior team leader experience. Previous KCP knowledge is preferred.  

Experience in using key systems for analysis and insight generation - SAP, Vistex, BI/BW, Excel, Contract Terms solutions

 Critical Skills/Qualifications:

•Experience in Pricing, Customer Investment and ROI reviews, Business Analysis

•Ability to work effectively towards multiple deadlines/tasks
