Job Summary:

Healthcare Business Insights (HBI), part of Clarivate, is a leading supplier of Data Analytics & Insights for healthcare providers, physician networks and hospital systems. HBI is currently searching for skilled business development representatives who will focus on creating demand and interest with new prospects and current clients. S/he will also assist with the following: pricing, maintaining salesforce CRM, sales strategy, partnering with the Key Account Managers (KAMs) and attending industry and company conferences.

Responsibilities:


  • Proactively generate and source new business with a focus on all US healthcare providers, as well as other key industry stakeholders in North America

  • Maintain a robust pipeline for future sales by sourcing new prospects as well as qualifying inbound leads for conversion

  • Partner with Key Account Managers to create customized plans for assigned territories to support sales cycle success and to drive urgency

  • Manage existing client relationships for growth through valued account management and up-selling new solutions

  • Engage and communicate effectively with senior (often C-level) decision makers via telephone, email, Teams, Zoom, etc. to proactively schedule and facilitate sales meetings and/or pitch HBI products and services

  • Accurately maintain and continuously develop prospect and client data into Salesforce CRM

  • Collaborate with other commercial and sales teams to maximize revenue opportunities from prospects and existing clients

  • Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge across a broad range of HBI's products and service

Requirements:

Must-Have Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required

  • At least 1 year of sales experience, ideally in a B2B setting (strong sales or related internships will count)

  • Comfort and ability to perform both telephone/web/remote based and face-to-face sales (inside and outside sales)

  • Comfort and ability to present information to senior decision makers

  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communications skills

  • A motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

  • Passionate about winning; A self-starter with a track record of success, ideally in and out of the workplace

  • Languages: fluency in written & oral English is a must

  • Proficiency in MS Teams, Salesforce.com, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel applications is preferred
