Health Safety Director, Child Care Early Education at Bright Horizons Children's Centers

Job Description:

As a leader in an early education/child care center, you are a positive influence and natural motivator who inspires teachers to create high-quality programming. Ensuring children's safety, partnering with child care licensing, and building a team... these are the things that bring you job satisfaction. You'll work under the direction of the center director to ensure compliance in all health & safety measures and be the second in charge/acting manager in the absence of the center director.

Health and Safety Directors must pass state and company background checks. Experience and education requirements include:


  • Bachelor's degree in ECE or related field highly preferred

  • At least two years of center leadership/administrative experience

  • Professional teaching experience with infant to preschool children

  • NY Certification strongly preferred
