Job Title: Marketing Generalist

Reports To: Director of Sales & Marketing

Location: Eugene

FLSA Status: Exempt

Position Summary: Responsible for developing and directly executing objectives and plans in support of companys marketing strategies, supplier programs and companys product and service sales in multiple market segments. Hands-on management and on-going work to continuously support, refresh and update printed and electronic sales material, content and projects in areas to include but not limited to; marketing communications, selling materials, social media platforms, lead generation management & execution and company website. Actively participate in supplier product and marketing training and events. Works under general management guidance and has total project responsibility for the larger or more complex projects requiring advanced design and analysis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Marketing communications planning and hands-on project completion.Manage promotional campaigns and supplier sponsored rebate and/or special pricing programs.Social Media platform management, refresh and analytics reporting to drive improvement.Manage lead generation programs and initiatives in coordination with sales team.Creates effective product campaigns throughout the year to achieve targeted objectives.Measures and reports performance of marketing campaigns and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs).Assist with marketing-related copy for internal and external use and help design valuable content, from guides and presentations to infographics.Write copy for marketing and communication material, including press releases, infographics and social media posts.Research and recommend new ideas for strengthening the Tyree brand. Update and maintaining social media communications for the company; work with leadership to ensure marketing KPIs are being met.Possess understanding of multimedia design and experience building files for both print and digital.Develop and oversee implementation of integrated marketing plans to support new customer acquisition targets, aid in retention, and strengthen overall brand loyalty.Assess the effectiveness of the marketing programs that support your products on an ongoing basis, and report back to the business on required changes.
Required Education and Experience:
Minimum Experience: 5 or more years Marketing Communications preferred.Education: BA or BS degree required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATINS AND CORE COMPETENCIES:
Strong verbal/written communication skills.
Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced professional environment performing several tasks concurrently.Ability to prioritize conflicting work demands under pressure.Problem solving and analysis.Works well in a team environment, with a diverse workforce.

Solid computer skills, including MS Office, CRM, marketing creative software Adobe and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
Knowledge of HTML, CSS and web development tools.

work Schedule and Travel:
The normal workweek for a full-time exempt employee is considered to be 40 hours this can vary depending on workload.Shift: Day shift.Exempt employees do not receive overtime compensation or compensatory time off or additional compensation beyond the established salary for the position.Weekends/Evenings: Weekends/Evenings may be required.May be required to travel to/from Tyree Oil locations; Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
