Business Operations Manager at ARCTOS

Job Description:

Responsibilities:


  • Lead annual Budget development and all financial monthly reporting requirements across the BU (Business Unit).

  • Lead development of reporting/metrics for measuring success across the BU Operations team including dashboard/scorecards to measure key.

  • Own and manage the pricing process and tools across the BU to include Task Response, Recompetes, and New Business.

  • Own and manage the Program Controls process and tools across the BU to include direct oversight and management of the Program Controls Analysts supporting the BU.

  • Own and manage the Customer invoicing process across the BU.

  • Provide support to the Accounts Payable processes within the BU.

  • Provide support and analysis for all Indirect Costs associated with the BU.

  • Manage and encourage new ideas from the team to foster improvements through innovation.

  • Work with the organization to drive efficiencies through process improvements.

  • Provide coaching to the team to meet and exceed individual and team performance goals consistently.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Strong relationship building skills, including executive interaction & negotiation, ability to coach others.

  • Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and process-driven, with an orientation toward continuous process improvement.

  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and experience synthesizing disparate and sometimes potentially contradictory data.

  • Strong analytical skills, to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements.

Experience and Education:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or business-related field.

  • Eight (8) + years’ in managing a finance function, Master’s degree preferred.

  • Extensive experience in all forms of Government Contracting to include CPFF, T&M, and FFP.

  • Extensive experience in all Microsoft products to include Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Experience using Deltek Costpoint Software.

Physical Requirements/Working Environment:


  • Office Environment.

Travel:


  • Travel may be required and will be performed under the guidelines of Federal Travel Regulations (FTR) and/or Joint Travel Regulations (JTR).  Estimate less than 25%.
