Summary:

Responsible for the administration of Company contracts in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures, and applicable Federal Regulations. Review and resolve issues affecting Company compliance and ensure satisfaction of legal requirements, company and customer objectives. Advise management of contractual rights and obligations and provide interpretation of terms and conditions. Provide contractual support in proposal development, contract negotiation and administration, including modifications, extensions, written and oral communication with client, and the termination or close-out of standard and nonstandard contracts. Assist and advise in proposal preparation activities, conduct contract negotiations, develop and maintain positive working relationships with government counterparts while ensuring proper and timely contract performance, in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Work with program, contract management, and Finance to examine performance requirements, cost estimates, delivery schedules, as well as material, equipment, or production costs, to offer recommendations, develop action items, and to serve as the liaison with the government in resolving issues and managing expectations.

Essential Job Functions:

1.Review and make recommendations regarding resolution of issues relating to company performance in conformance to original proposal and all terms and conditions of the contract.

2.Provide guidance on contractual requirements and government regulations, communicating with Contract Management, Senior Leadership, and Legal when applicable.

3.Review contract documents received, coordinating with PM/DPM and Finance to verify information prior to execution or dissemination of contract documents,

4.Provide updates to management on any impacts to contract cost or schedule.

5.Prepare and disseminate information throughout the company regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, deviation, negotiation, and completion, termination or close-out.

6.Prepare special reports and analysis as required. As required, work with corporate to ensure proper maintenance of contract briefing system in accordance with DCAA requirements.


  1. Responsible for full range of cradle to grave contract administration and reporting duties for large scale, long term contracts.

  2. Completed work will be reviewed and approved by supervisor.

Education & Experience:

2 - 5 years with BA, or equivalent in subject-matter certifications or job experience.

Desirable experience: MBA, or Business, Finance, or pricing experience

License & Certifications: Desirable

NCMA Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or equivalent in subject-matter certifications or job experience.

Knowledge & Skills:

Complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards of contract administration. Full knowledge of industry practices.

Highly Motivated, Customer Oriented, and must possess excellent writing and verbal communication skills.

Travel: 10-25% (local travel to customer sites)
