We are looking for an expert technical marketer who excels in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to be responsible for delivering foundational technical content, conducting benchmarks, and creating demos in the rapidly growing areas of Kubernetes, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science/Analytics, Hybrid Cloud, and/or Software Defined Storage. This role needs someone with a passion for technology and proven experience captivating new customers with influential technical content. You'll work closely with senior leadership, product management, worldwide sales, and GTM teams to develop and push the message out to the market.
How You'll Make Your Mark:
Develop deep technical understanding of the target audience to drive a user-centric marketing approach, ensuring that messaging and content are centered around customer buying needs
Create pervasive technical product and solution level content including whitepapers, benchmarks, webinars, demos, and blogs
Develop and socialize technical marketing and sales enablement across the organization
Partner with marketing peers to produce relevant content for target buyers across the buyer’s journey
Collaborate with sales enablement function to develop sales enablement plan for HPE specialists and partners
Serve as market-facing subject matter expert (SME) in AI, machine learning, and big data analytics
Interface with industry analysts and other industry influencers as a representative of the company
Work key internal partner marketing teams, to drive joint marketing activities and GTM programs
Research competitors, do win-loss analysis, and develop competitive sales enablement content
About You:
BS or MS degree in Electrical, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other Engineering equivalent.
Min 7 years of technical marketing, solutions engineering, pre-sales
Related experience in high performance file systems (MapR a bonus), big data and streaming architectures, hybrid cloud architectures, Kubernetes, AI, machine learning, data science, big data analytics, or software defined storage.
Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures and container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
Knowledge of streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Spark), no SQL (e.g., Mongo DB), storage technologies (e.g., HDFS, NFS, POSIX)
Using and evaluating appropriate analytical techniques, software packages, and infrastructure to deliver benchmarks and demos
Evaluating forms of empirical analysis, modeling and testing methodologies to validate analytics solution architectures and specifications
Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels.
Ability to conduct market, competitor and customer research to gather insights and assess market opportunities
Ability to collaborate closely with field teams and develop strategies for creating sales pipeline for new and existing offerings
Ability to coordinate with marketing, sales enablement, and communications functions across HPE
Well-developed understanding of the industry, offering categories and company offerings/strategy.
