This role in the Consumer Mobility Marketing organization is focused on designing, developing, and implementing the strategic marketing plans for VPGM markets for the Postpaid Wireless business. The marketing battle plans will cover: Acquisition & Go-to Market, Promos & Channel Strategy, and Base Management for Signature & Appreciation, Small Business CRU and FirstNet, Fiber/Wireless Cross-Sell, Hispanic, and Network perception.

The Postpaid Wireless Marketing team is looking for a talented, highly motivated candidate who can identify, implement, and support comprehensive marketing strategies and programs for key markets and segments to drive postpaid wireless sales growth. This person will serve as a primary point of contact to provide cross-functional support to marketing leadership, VPGMs and the field, retail, go-to-market operations teams, analytics experts, and more. It will require strong presentation skills as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment to quickly resolve marketing deliverables as needed to ensure that marketing strategy is executed timely and that investments are optimized.

The person in this role will serve as a support lead for Acquisition and go-to-market strategy for our consumer postpaid wireless business.

To be successful in this role, the key skills and attributes you will need include: strong execution and project management skills, cross-team relationship building, ability to generate insights from customer research, business case development, understanding of testing strategies, knowledge of consumer marketing & fulfillment channels, and a positive & proactive approach to problem solving. It will be essential for the individual to gain consensus among the cross functional teams, including Business Analytics, Finance, Sales Operations, IT, Field Sales Leadership and Customer Service to ensure the go-to-market strategy is effective. A successful candidate will be able to multi-task and adapt rapidly to aggressive deadlines and changing priorities.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Ensure the comprehensive marketing plan is aligned with achieving various marketing metrics, and ultimately ensure that we achieve our volumes and/or churn rate targets
  • Perform comprehensive marketing analysis and prepare marketing performance activity reports, and leads continuous improvement and optimization initiatives
  • Analyze and interpret data and reporting quickly, articulate complex concepts concisely to leadership as needed
  • Forecasts and communicates marketing needs by applying advanced marketing principles, theories, and concepts to create and design strategic marketing responses
  • Maintain flexibility to manage evolving priorities of the business and build business cases as needed to support budget shifts such as heavy ups to achieve our targets
  • Engage with key partners to and collaborate cross-functionally to support the launch of projects across channels and lines of business, provide accurate and timely updates on projects, and optimize marketing investments to fuel mobility growth
  • Manage messaging and engagement consistency across channels for your segment, and understand how to best utilize different channels to drive the business
  • Extensive understanding of Consumer Mobility Marketing

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or similar
  • 6+ years’ relevant, related marketing experience
  • Must be results driven, self-directed, detail oriented, organized, able to demonstrate ability to analyze complex issues, thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities, adapt to and accommodate change
  • Strong analytical skills – ability to leverage qualitative and quantitative data sources to gather insights, develop targeting and segmentation strategies, and tell a story to drive financially responsible decision making for wireless marketing campaigns
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and relationship building skills: ability to collaborate across diverse cross-functional groups, simply and effectively communicate complex concepts, and influence across all management levels
  • Excellent communication including written, oral and presentation skills and the ability to champion ideas and execute in an expedited timeframe
