Sous Chef
Ready for a sizzling career move? You will play a pivotal role in our kitchens working alongside a fantastic team.The Sous Chef will supervise all phases of the receiving, storing, preparing, producing, servicing, and sanitation of two kitchens. They will assist in the management of two separate culinary teams and report to Senior Food & Beverage Managers. This position has the opportunity to advance and grow into a position with more responsibility given the right candidate.

What you will be doing:

  • The Sous Chef is expected to maintain quality, product consistency, food and labor cost controls, and employee relations. This is to be achieved through the delegation of work to all kitchen personnel.
  • Actively share ideas, opinions and suggestions to improve the environment and menus
  • Ensure the consistency in the preparation of all food items for a la carte and/or buffet menus according to property recipes and standards
  • Communicate effectively with the rest of the team and thrive for guest feedback

Leadership Requirements:

  • Must have a work culture of setting a strong leadership example to all working around them.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple units at once.
  • Candidate must be solution and people orientated at all times.
  • Candidate must foster and facilitate an cohesive environment.
  • Seeking individual with desire to grow and develop both themselves and colleagues.

Your experience and skills include:

  • 5 years of previous Sous Chef or Culinary Management experience.
  • Experience in luxury hotel is favorable but not required.
  • Experience managing in a unionized environment is favorable but not essential.
  • Culinary Degree or equivalent including previous work experience.

Your team and working environment:


  • You will assist in the management of two unionized kitchens with two culianry teams and report to Senior Food & Beverage Managers. This position has the opportunity to advance and grow into a position with more responsibility given the right candidate.
