City Experiences is seeking a Dock Worker for our Boston Harbor City Cruises Boston/Long Wharf operation.

About the Opportunity:


Dock workers are assigned to Long Wharf, to maintain the overall appearance of the dock and pier. Responsible for overseeing day to day receiving and distribution of F&B product throughout the fleet. They may also be called upon to assist in other various tasks. Specific duties are listed below. 


About You:


This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences’ RESPECT Service System.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Processing and sorting all products that come in through deliveries. 

  • Organizing all products so that everything is easily assessable to other staff members. 

  • Taking daily inventory of all food and beverage products.  

  • Maintaining overall cleanliness and organization of the warehouse facility. 

  • Receiving and processing orders from all vessels. 

  • Deliver products to vessels and making sure the correct product has been delivered.  

  • Maintain overall cleanliness of the pier at Long Wharf. 

  • Ensuring restrooms are clean and stocked with paper towels, toilet paper, and soap at all times.  

  • When needed, help vessels with trash removal.  

  • Help vessels tie up to the dock, catching lines, assisting deckhands secure vessels.  

  • Help with general labor on the pier assisting management with any tasks. 

  • Be prepared to begin work at scheduled time. 

  • Maintain uniform and personal grooming in compliance with appearance standards.

  • Additional job duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications:



  • Must be able to work under pressure, agility in multitasking, and ability to make decisions. 

  • Available to work evening hours, including weekends and holidays.  

  • Must maintain high standards of service. 

  • Must be able to effectively understand and convey verbal information to coworkers. 

  • Will be closely supervised; must be able to take direction. 

  • Exceptional guest service skills. 

  • Able to carry and lift items that are up to 35lbs. 

  • Ability to stand, walk, and be active for long periods of time during entire shift. 

  • Must meet minimum state age requirements
