Job Description:

Are you a self-motivated, high-energy, experienced Dispatcher who is looking to take your career to the next level with an ever-growing, essential-industry leader? Boasso Global, an industry leader in container transportation and service, is growing and we are currently in search of an Overnight Terminal Dispatcher to join our team in Channelview, TX.

At Boasso, Dispatchers are the oil that keeps our machine (terminal) running smoothly. If you are an agile individual who can pivot to prioritize to handle sudden route changes or delivery issues, please apply!

*PLEASE NOTE : Hours for this opportunity are 10pm-7am with a Monday - Friday schedule 

Primary responsibilities of an Overnight Terminal Dispatcher include (but are not limited to):

• Dispatch truck drivers for pick-ups at customer locations, local ports, and railroads


• Confirm proper bookings and billings to meet customer requirements


• Enter data in the computer for planning and general information


• Provide necessary communications to the terminal regarding specific customer requests


• Be willing to work extended hours to meet and exceed customer needs

Skills:

• Knowledge of DOT regulations and Safety Compliance


• Familiarity with DOT safety compliance


• Thrives off working in a high paced environment


• Ability to prioritize/multitask


• Computer Savvy

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED


• Experience in the trucking and/or intermodal transportation industry.
