Position Snapshot
The Billing Specialist at US Ecology partners with Customer Service and Account Executives daily to ensure timely completion of accurate customer invoices.

Day in the Life

After booting up your computer and grabbing your favorite morning beverage, you can expect to:

• Creates customer invoices from billing documents.


• Completes all necessary steps to ensure customer invoices are sent in a timely manner.


• Reviews all billing documents manually and electronically for accuracy and completeness.


• Partners with Customer Service and Account Executives to ensure that invoicing is accurate to the customer.


• Follows up with external customers related to billing issues.


• Produces and distributes reports and documentation related to billing.


• Creates and accepts vendor invoices when required.


• Provides excellent customer service correspondence to vendors via telephone or email regarding invoices, payments, or other vendor requests.


• Assist in compiling documentation related to invoices.

What you need to apply

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience.


• 2-3 years of experience in accounting or related field.


• Environmental services experience a plus.


• Knowledge of the MS Office Suite with proficiency using Excel.
