Great opportunity to join LeachGarner as a Slitting Machine Operator!

Responsibilities include:

• Perform diversified finish slitting operations which include; setups, calculating, measuring, weighing and recording activities to finish slit stock to company/customer specifications


• Set up cutters to slit materials to finish width based on customer order specifications


• Working form routing orders, forms, specification and verbal and written instructions from supervisor


• Utilize various hand tools, finish slitter machines, micrometers, calculators and related tools


• Maintain necessary records and move materials


• Follow established company and department rules and regulations and maintain quality standards


• Assist in maintaining equipment

Requirements:

• Able to lift 25+ pounds multiple times throughout shift


• Previous slitting and precious metals experience is preferred


• Able to stand, walk and reach throughout the shift


• Ability to work effectively with limited supervision


• Able to read, write and speak English


• Good math skills


• Must follow all safety rules and PPE requirements


• High school diploma or GED; technical degree is a plus
