What you will be doing:Your goal is to cultivate a culture of learning by providing leadership in the strategic intent and achievement of our strategy. We have recently updated our learning strategy and are at the beginning of rebuilding our talent offerings. You will have the opportunity to further shape our culture of learning and drive the innovation through prototyping, iteration, and implementation. You will serve as champion and ambassador of Learning and Development in all interactions inside and outside the organizations. You will work closely with our Centers of Expertise (COEs) and executive team to identify short and long-term capability needs, manage investments to close those gaps, and accelerate internal development of talent. You will serve as a consultant in the design, implementation, and administration of a progressive talent development programs, while ensuring that activities and priorities support and align with organizational goals. Other responsibilities may include:


  • Providing direction and support to subordinate staff.

  • Partnering across multiple audiences to ensure a holistic approach to talent development.

  • Collaborating with other COEs to ensure efficient use of staff, and that offerings compliment/support other areas.

  • Establishing and managing relationships with multiple vendors.

  • Ensuring clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders in carrying out activities.

  • Directing resource allocation for area of responsibility to plan and execute regional budget that aligns with the global budget and makes effective recommendations regarding annual operating budget.

  • Approaching all initiatives with an innovative mindset for how offerings can be viewed by participants as relevant, engaging, and value-added.

  • Leading our point of view on our learning management system and other tools necessary to support execution.

  • Leading metrics strategy to define success and produce metrics scorecard.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Instructional Design, Adult Learning Theory, Organization Development, Human Resources, or related field with 8 years of progressive experience.

  • Experience in a global corporate learning setting required.

  • Proven application of adult learning theory and/or experience design in both classroom and virtual learning settings.

  • Experience setting expectations and inspiring the team to action.

  • Experience managing a large budget and vendor portfolio.
