ATI is seeking a Director, Infrastructure Engineering & Architecture to join our Enterprise Services Digital Technology (IT) team. This role will be located at one of our major locations including, our corporate office in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania or our plant locations in Monroe, North Carolina; Millersburg, Oregon; or Cudahy, Wisconsin.We will also consider candidates in other areas, including the option of remote/work from home. This role will require approximately 25-35% travel.

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Infrastructure & Technology Shared Services, the Director, Infrastructure Engineering & Architecture is a member of our Infrastructure and Technology Shared Services leadership team and will help lead a shared services transformation. In this role, you will enable ATI's digital transformation by leading a practice and team of solution architects and engineers who provide world class engineering, architecture, and back-office infrastructure services to ATI; and in support of our business units and their Digital Technology teams by enabling industry 4.0 goals. This includes providing the strategy, roadmap and project execution for Database, Network, Datacenter and Modern Workplace technologies. The Infrastructure Engineering & Architecture Director will also manage our partners providing run support for back-office infrastructure.

A successful Director, Infrastructure Engineering & Architecture is an experienced leader, influencer, problem solver and excellent communicator who is able to navigate and successfully deliver against initial change resistance; and is able to provide direction to regional managers and individual contributors in support of a geographically disperse global manufacturing environment.

In order to become successful, you will partner with other leaders of the Infrastructure and Technology Shared Services Organization including End User Experience and Operations, as well as Infrastructure Programs ensuring smooth transition of work, robust support models, technology adoption and a world class user experience. As an internal service provider to the rest of our Digital, IT, and OT functions, you must be a team player and focused on the overall success of ATI's digital transformation and business strategies. You will be expected to lead and represent the entire Digital Technology Enterprise function to our business unit Digital Technology Teams.

Additional Responsibilities:

* Aligned with the Digital Technology strategic vision, delivering services to all business units that historically provided their own technology selection and roadmap.
* Take an active leadership role in determining overall Infrastructure and technology shared services' strategies, and specific objectives for individual projects.
* Works closely with the End User Experience team to accelerate the adoption of modern workplace technologies and improve the user experience while maintaining world class support, processes and standards.
* Analyze existing operations and implement plans and programs for the improvement and reliability and delivery of ATI's Infrastructure technologies and support.
* Work with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations and develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives.
* Develop roadmaps and strategic programs to transform ATI's infrastructure and introduce modern capabilities
* Frequently deals with IT vendors and suppliers, cloud services, and outsourcing agencies to enable and deliver the digital strategy; manages the contract life cycle related to these 3rd party services.
* Maintains relationships with all other external stakeholders.
* Stays informed regarding the latest IT sector happenings and industry best practices by attending technology conferences and seminars.
* Development of Policies and Procedures driving standards and monitoring adherence across the corporation.
* Lead, coach, mentor, and develop staff to maximize their individual contribution, professional growth, and ability to function effectively with their colleagues and team.
* Responsible for performance management of direct reports.
* Influence and support the culture, values, and standards of the IT organization.
* Manage department budget.

Basic Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in engineering, information technology, or business discipline from an accredited college or university.
* At least 10 years infrastructure engineering and architecture experience in progressive leadership roles and driving transformation within enterprise Information Technology.

Or

* In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, at least 14 years infrastructure engineering and architecture experience in progressive leadership roles and driving transformation within enterprise Information Technology.

Preferred Qualifications (In addition to Basic Qualifications)

* Advanced degree in engineering or information technology.
* Minimum five years' experience in the manufacturing, utility, or telecommunications industries.
* Prior experience in a regulated industry, critical infrastructure sector or DOD contractor.
* Demonstrated ability to lead End User Experience across a geographically diverse, global company.
* Prior experience in organizational transformation and the implementation of shared services.
* Relevant professional certification.
* Experience in dealing with key, notable regulatory organizations.

Skills

* Effective oral, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
* Strong working knowledge of all aspects of Manufacturing and Business IT and the ability to apply this knowledge in a global company.
* Excellent ability to articulate our digital vision and strategy both within and outside the company
* Possess the savvy to work across organizational lines within the company and influence key internal executives and business line Directors.
* Strong ability to execute, lead transformation, and drive implementation of agreed-upon strategies.

* Willingness and ability to roll up your sleeves and get involved to mentor and deliver.
