We are seeking a Radiology RN to:


  • Join our team of remarkable nurses and have the opportunity to collaborate with exceptionally qualified providers and technical staff using state-of-the art technology.

  • Be a part of our staff who has subspecialty training to provide care in various modalities which include: Procedure Prep and Recovery, IR Body, IR Neuro, Ultrasound, MRI, and Musculoskeletal.

  • Be part of a team who is actively involved in cutting edge, evidence-based therapies and research studies to improve patient outcomes.

  • Join a team of Radiology nurses who are encouraged and supported to participate in quality improvement initiatives and lead practice change.

  • Take part in the teaching and learning culture: always seeking out the “why” to understand both problems and solutions.

Education:

Preferred – Baccalaureate degree in nursing.

Work Experience:

Minimum – One (1) year of relevant critical care experience.

Preferred – Two (2) years critical care experience. Radiology experience. Pediatric experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum – Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin. CPR certification. ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:


  • Knowledge regarding quality improvement and standards of care within practice area.

  • Experience in teaching patients and families.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to effectively work with other nursing team members, physicians and technologists.

Physical Requirements:

Medium: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

Work Schedule:

This is an Day/Evening position and includes variable (8) eight, (10) ten and (12) twelve-hour shifts. Variable shifts: 0700-1530, 0700-1730, 0700-1930, 0800-1630, 0730-1800 and 1100-2130. Weekend and holiday rotation required. Hours may vary based on operational needs of department.

On-Call Requirement: Position requires (6) six to (7) seven On-Call weekends per year and (1) one to (2) two On-Call holidays per year. On-Call Response time is 30-minutes.
