Evoqua has an exciting opportunity for a High Purity Water Systems Technician supporting our light industry customers in the Cincinnati, OH based out of West Chester, OH. As a High Purity Water Technician, you will perform installation, start-ups, investigative tests, troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance to our water treatment equipment (reverse osmosis, CDI, automatic softeners, carbon units and deionization water systems) at multiple customer locations. We provide training to advance you through our Technician program and pay increases that correspond with your expanded capabilities. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS


  • Creates and maintains safe working environment and cultures within the organization
  • Takes care of company property
  • Works with more advanced and multi/complex systems
  • Proactively trouble shoots systems for mechanical, electrical equipment conditions
  • Anticipates and corrects safety issues - both company and customer owned equipment
  • May be responsible for work in multiple systems, locations or customers
  • Provides coaching or training to entry-level technicians Organization Impact:
  • Backup/escalation of technical service support
  • Customer facing

  • Highly accountable to customer for operation and repair of the system.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:


  • 3-7 years technical experience including industrial or commercial process water experience
  • Experience with Microsoft office including smart devises
  • Must have customer service experience
  • Demonstrates critical thinking and trouble shooting ability, Basic controls ability (PLC)

DRIVING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Able to operate a company vehicle
  • Able to pass driver requirements which include:

    • Driver Application for Employment
    • Driver Disclosure and Release
    • Employee Applicant Drug and Alcohol Statement
    • FMCSA Certificate of Awareness
    • Driver Certificate of Violations
    • Driver Statement of On Duty Hours
    • Road Test
    • Copy of Driver's License (Front and Back)
    • Copy of Medical Certificate.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and see on a constant basis.
  • Must be able to walk, write, and type on a frequent basis.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Must be able to climb and descend stairs.
  • Must be able to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull on an occasional basis.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • May work indoors and outdoors as needed. Exposure to heat up to 120 degrees and cold to 0 degrees.
  • May work in areas where noise level is such that hearing protection is required.
  • May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt.
  • Work surfaces may include concrete.
  • Employee must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone. Some travel to other locations, meetings and/or seminars is required.
