The Senior Director, US Federal & State Government Business will have account management responsibility for commercially marketed products with assigned Federal and State Accounts/Agencies within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS). This role will maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to identify product opportunities and increase Amneal sales. They will lead, develop, and implement a business plan and strategy with all assigned accounts and agencies. They will oversee account performance to ensure that markets for the generic pharmaceutical products are properly identified and penetrated. This role will work with many different US Government agencies including VA, DoD, ASPR, SNS, BARDA, FEMA, CMS and state agencies including Medicaid to ensure patient access to Amneal products within the Federal and State Agencies. This role will be an integral part of the Government Business and Health Policy Team.
Essential Functions:
Manage essential accounts assigned within the Federal and State agencies
Establish relationships within each agency at the federal and state level
Grow sales within the US Government business for all Amneal divisions
Assist with Government bids, orders, issue resolution as needed
Education:
Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) Business-related major - Required
Experience:
14 years or more in Pharmaceutical National Account Management
15 years or more Pharmaceutical Industry
Other Retired Military Preferred Other Security Clearance
Other Medical Readiness / CBRNE background
Skills:
Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) - Advanced
Self motivated with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple customers simultaneously - Advanced
Specialized Knowledge:
Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the Military health care system and Veterans Administration Health care system Basic understanding of CBRNE and Medical Readiness
