Summary:
*This is a temporary position*

This position is primarily responsible for assisting the Missile Systems Finance Director with all aspects of the forecasting, reporting, budgeting, and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis to senior management, including but not limited to: gathering, analyzing, preparing and summarizing various financial reports and variance explanations.


• Assist in preparing monthly business review presentations (MBR) for senior management.


• Analyze and forecast department costs and communicate to department leaders


• Prepare ad-hoc Finance reports as requested for management.


• Assisting with special projects as needed.


• Communicate and coordinate timelines and deliverables with Divisional leaders.


• Focus on continuous improvement of processes and templates to better support the businesses with more efficient and effective approaches.


• Support in the preparation of the annual long-term financial plans (five-year financial plan) and budget process


• Assist in the monthly forecasting process from start to finish, with input from business leads


• Performs other duties as assigned by the Finance Director of the Missile Systems Division

Qualifications

Minimum:

• Bachelors in Accounting or Finance or equivalent education


• At least 5 years progressive financial analyst experience, preferably in government contracting environment


• Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills


• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (specifically Power Point and Excel applications) and Business Financial systems


• Ability to multitask and work in a high paced environment both independently as well as a team


• Ability to compile data from various sources to perform analysis

Preferred:

• MBA or Masters Degree in Accounting


• SAP or comparable ERP experience desirable
