Concrete Laborer - Summer Help at High Concrete Group, LLC

Job Description:

Looking to earn great pay AND learn new skills this summer? If so then join, High Concrete Group LLC, the nation’s leading producer of pre-cast concrete parking garages, commercial structures and architectural facades. We are seeking college and high school students for temporary summer help. Entry level candidates are encouraged to apply. We are willing to train candidates who demonstrate aptitude for our type of work. Positions will be available from May through August 2020 in select production areas.

All summer help positions are first shift and are scheduled to work 40 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:


  • High School diploma or GED required or actively enrolled in a related Career & Technology (CTC) program.

  • Experience using basic hand and power tools

  • Basic math and precise measurement skills

  • Familiarity reading blue prints a plus

  • An interest in pursuing a construction, material handling or concrete labor position post graduation.

  • Flexible to bounce between indoor production area and outdoor yard grounds.

General Duties


  • Gather parts to be placed in forms for layout

  • Fabricate steel bars into cages for precast pieces

  • Prepare forms for the days' pour by cleaning, caulking and oiling forms

  • Clean and return tools to storage area daily

  • Cross-training in the yard doing material handling work.
