Job Description:

Job Summary


Supervise the Direct to Consumer (D2C) order fulfilment operations to include necessary planning and daily execution to deliver against businessobjectives. Drive and supporta Consumer First culture within the team by focusing on product availability, picking accuracy, packing for a safe arrival, and timely delivery.


Duties and Responsibilities



  • Provide supervision of eCommerce/D2C shippingactivities to include the efficient and timely fulfillment and delivery of orders.

  • Ensure order fulfillment accuracy 100% of the time; investigate and resolve problems or order issues.

  • Supervise the replenishment, storage, order picking, packing, audit, inventory management, and shipment of product to consumers.

  • Routinely monitor and track against key performance indicators (i.e., accuracy, damages, and productivity).

  • Maintain and support a culture of safety and security; regularly conduct safety audits and actively address shortfalls.

  • Plan and coordinate temporary staffing needs necessary to support the operation; actively partner with third-party staffing organization to ensure needs are met.

  • Assist in the preparation of correspondence, reports, and standard operating procedures.

  • Responsible for managing allocated inventory; routinely perform physical inventory counts as required or as deemed necessary.

  • Ensure shipments are picked up on time by third party carriers (i.e., FedEx or UPS) to meet ontime delivery commitment; regularly communicate with carriers.

  • Partner with the Sales, Marketing, and Consumer Experience teams in support of theConsumer First experience; identify, discuss, andaddress opportunities for improvement.

  • Ensure accurate information is entered into and disseminated out of the Warehouse Management System (WMS); serve as a key internal resource for users.

  • Routinely inspect the physical condition of the equipment and materials; order testing, maintenance, repairs, and/or replacements as necessary.

  • Prepare and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for the department; and assist in the preparation of correspondence, reports, operations, maintenance, and safety manuals.

  • Monitor expenditures; may assist in the preparation and management of the annual budget.

  • Supervise the day-to-day activities of the eCommerce/D2C fulfillmentteam. Provide leadership and direction to members of the department, performing those responsibilities in accordance with the established policies and applicable laws. Responsible for participating in interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning or directing work, appraising performance, disciplining team members and resolving problems. Work with Human Resources to resolve more complex team member-related issues.

  • Other duties as deemed necessary.


Qualification Requirements


Minimum Education:


  • High School Diploma or completion of GED equivalent.

Minimum Work Experience:


  • Three (3) years of warehouse or distribution experience facilitating high-volume small pack/eCommerce order processing.



License(s) / Certification(s):


  • Valid licensure/certificate to operate a forklift.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities



  • Knowledge of widely accepted and general order fullfillment/distribution standards.

  • Proficiency using simple mathematics.

  • Strong knowledge of OSHA workplace safety standards.

  • Proficiency using a Personal Computer (PC) to include Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Proficiency using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).

  • Good communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate in

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.

  • Leadership skills and the ability to lead a diverse team of coworkers.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain information in a logical and easily understood manner.

  • Problem solving skills and the abiltiy to think creatively to resolve challenges.

  • Critical thinking skills and the ability maintain composure.

  • Time management skills and the ability to effectively manage competing demand and priorities.

  • Good customer service skills and the ability to put the customer/consumer first.

  • Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.

  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness.


Physical Requirements


Normal warehouse environment requiring long periods of standing and navigating the work area.
