Position Purpose:
The Capture Manager is responsible for developing the capture plan to include the capture team, personnel and resources required to capture an approved opportunity.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Develop Manage and Execute capture plan.
Assign capture team.
Manage capture day-today activities.
Prepare and brief capture gate reviews.
Participate in Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs) and Customer communication, as required.
Chair capture Reviews and meetings consisting of internal management, technical and financial review of all aspects of the New Business and Follow-on Opportunities.
Develop, plan and report budget for capture activities.
Support teaming agreements, Statement of Work (SOWs), and specifications development.
Coordinate capture strategy with senior leadership, PMO, engineering, finance, contracts and legal.
Develop, manage and report Capture plan schedules.
Manage capture activities IAW the Business Acquisition Process (BAP), and company strategy.
Knowledge, Skills and Ability:
Ability to fluently read, write, speak and understand English.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of the DoD acquisition processes.
Knowledge and experience with Aircrew Training, Simulation .
Proven experience with missile defense capture and/or business development, preferred.
Experience leading and managing geographically dispersed teams, preferred.
Experience in program planning, budget development and execution; contracting, workforce staffing, risk management, and the implementation of project processes and controls, preferred.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
Education and Formal Training:
Bachelor's Degree - in business, engineering, or related field, but Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM), is preferred.
MBA or Graduate degree is highly desired.
Experience:
10 years' experience with program management, customer management, capture, and/or business development
3 years of management experience
Salary Range: $101,327 - $124,100
