In this role, you will help drive Blue Cross NC's strategy and have a significant impact on the company and its future. You will contribute to the execution of strategic partnerships and M&A opportunities from end-to-end, developing insightful analyses and working collaboratively to foster consensus and gain executive buy-in. You will support analysis for the executive team, who will rely on you to conduct deep diligence, make strategic recommendations for transformative growth initiatives.

What You'll Do:
Research to inform strategic recommendations on possible merger, acquisition, corporate venture capital investment and strategic partnership opportunities
Assist in the development of business cases that provide executive leadership team with strategic recommendations on new market opportunities to meet the organization's long-range inorganic growth goals
Analyze the merits and risks of strategic investments, acquisitions, and partnerships and provide recommendations to senior leaders
Support management of the end to end partnership and investment processes including identification of potential targets, the terms negotiation process, execution of transactions and integration planning at a corporate level. Will partner with business unit owners, finance, legal and other SMEs to ensure benefits of transactions are realized.
What We Look For:
Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience in Investment banking, private equity experience, corporate strategy, or business development leadership role in a Fortune 500 with an active M&A and/or partnership program, or strategy consulting with deep financial analysis and M&A experience required.
OR Master's degree and 2 years of experience as stated above.
Internal candidates with at least 6 years of broad-based health insurance/healthcare experience and direct, prior exposure to applicable strategy area
Ability to quickly ramp up on new topics and demonstrated structured problem solving
Ability to perform rigorous financial, valuation, and broad quantitative analyses and familiarity with accounting & key operational metrics
