The Medical Auditor is responsible for providing audit support and expertise to billing staff and management. They will work as part of the Coding and Audit team, and assist in the regular review of work by Medical Billers, and provide feedback accordingly. They will also provide coding audit services directly to clients as assigned, and support the Director with any coding or audit related needs or projects

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Medical Biller required.

  • Knowledge ofmedical terminologyrequired.

  • Knowledge ofmedical billing and/or collectionsrequired.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excelrequired.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of billing andcollections.

  • Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational and analyticalskills.

  • Demonstrated ability to pro-actively identify problems, as well as recommend and/or implement effectivesolutions.

  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and developrelationships both internally andexternally.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with and maintain confidentialinformation.

  • Excellent verbal and written communicationskills.

  • Flexibility to adapt to a changing and fast-paced environment.
