Front Desk Coordinator at High Company LLC

We are hiring a Front Desk Coordinator to join The High Company, LLC, for a temporary opportunity of four (4) months or more!


In this position, you will promote a cordial and professional image in attitude and appearance while greeting visitors to the High Corporate Offices.  You will handle duties relative to the daily operation of the Office Services team, dealing primarily with the customer service.


Responsibilities:


As the receptionist is a highly-professional corporate office setting, you will:



  • greet visitors and inform Corporate Office co-workers of their arrival;. 

  • answer incoming calls for various High companies and transfer them to the appropriate individuals;

  • maintain the company telephone directory;

  • obtain front desk coverage for scheduled and unscheduled absences (vacation, sick days, etc.) by contacting casual co-workers who provide this service.

  • initiate service calls for equipment in the Corporate Office, and provide follow-up, if necessary;

  • coordinate special cleaning projects and report problem areas to the Corporate Office cleaning service;

  • receive and sign for packages at the front desk and inform the appropriate individuals that they are available for pickup; 

  • assist various SBUs and SRUs with projects; 

  • provide back-up for the Mail Coordinator, as needed; and

  • perform other functions or projects as directed by the Office Services Supervisor.

Important Areas of Expertise:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Some college classes completed a plus

  • Experience in switchboard operation and administrative functions required.

  • Computer skills in Microsoft 365 desirable.

  • Prior experience handling highly confidential information with discretion.

  • Ability to exercise independent judgement and problem solve.

  • Valid driver's license required. 

  • Ability to occasionally lift mail bins or packages weighing up to 50 lbs.

Important Details:



  • The High Corporate Office has all COVID-19 safeguards in place, including plexiglass barriers around the front desk.

  • The front desk is located in the main lobby and features large windows and plenty of natural light.

  • Work schedule is from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, and includes 2.5 hours of weekly paid overtime.

  • When filling in for the Mail Coordinator, limited travel in the local Lancaster area is required during regular business hours using a company-owned vehicle.
