The Service division directly supports branch teams and clients, addressing all issues and

inquiries with accuracy and timeliness to deliver Service Excellence. With a thorough

understanding of daily branch operations, your valuable insights will shape how we do business.

In this fast-paced, service-oriented environment, you’ll leverage your critical thinking and

effective communication skills to find solutions to inquiries, whether the request comes from a

branch associate or client. By continually assessing and aligning our support, you’ll help us to

better serve the needs of branch teams and the people they serve.

Deliver exceptional service to clients and branch teams in both the Branch Team Support

business area and Tailored Support business area on the Service division.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Service clients needing financial advice in the absence of the financial advisor.

•  Includes review of each order request for accuracy and suitability, discussing the trade with the client, addressing client concerns/providing information about investments, placing client orders, and reinforcing branch/client relationship

•  Answer incoming calls from Edward Jones branches and provide information/training on Order Service policies/procedures

•  Work with callers who contact our Client Relations department to assist with providing solutions to their questions.

•  These inquiries could be related to account specific information, but could also cover a variety of other topics.

****Current Series 7 and Series 66 licenses are required*****

Spanish speaking ability is a plus
Minimum of 1-3 years previous experience in securities industry preferred
Excellent client service, verbal and written communication skills
Strong workflow management skills
Ability to apply sound judgment in decision making
Knowledge of firm guidelines concerning NASD/State securities registration, trading practices, investment suitability and proper disclosure of product information
Ability to understand and communicate research opinions and information on companies/investment product
Good understanding of economics, interest rates, and the stock market
Ability to function in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality
Strong computer skills required, including effective use of Microsoft Office applications and Internet Explorer
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is preferred
