Role Summary:

The BEST BUY STUDIOS ASSET COORDINATOR is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of physical samples flowing in and out of the Studio as it relates to all Studio produced projects. The Coordinator works closely with multiple partners such as Studio Producers, Marketing Project Managers/Acquisition, Corporate Inventory, Business and Vendor teams to ensure samples are procured for each project need as well as being responsible for ensuring all Best Buy standard operating procedures and protocols are followed. This role also supports the overall asset needs for other internal and external production teams as needed. Requires solid strategic, organizational and communication skills. Must also have the ability to juggle multiple projects at a time while making the connection between the needs of the business, the functional strategy, and how their role supports each. Must have the ability to proactively anticipate the needs and challenges of managing the physical assets in these workflows. This role will provide support in all assets areas…which include product, prop, and gear, as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide coordination support within the overall Asset areas – Prop, Product and Gear.
• Perform all Product workflow check-in processes and communication working with the Corporate Inventory Business, Photo Studio Producers, and Marketing Project Managers/Acquisition to ensure product accuracy and that all product deadlines are met.
• Enter and track/document Asset status daily utilizing the FMP, SharePoint Inventory, and Studio tools.
• Receive, and return Product for all project needs.
• SOP development and maintenance for all areas of responsibility.

Basic Requirements:

• Must be proficient with the Mac platform
• Lift operation experience
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Must be able to work within tight scheduling deadlines with flexible work hours as needed

Preferred Requirements:

• Photo or Broadcast coordination experience
• FMP (File Maker Pro) experience
• Share Point experience
• Ability to organize and problem solve independently
• An understanding of Photo/Video Gear
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work well within a team environment
• Database management and/or spreadsheet application experience
