The Reporting and Insights team provides a robust suite of measurement, analytics, and insights capabilities covering the full lifecycle of our advertising campaigns—from pre-sale insights to in-flight optimization to post-campaign reporting. At every stage, our team is designed to generate confidence and transparency in advertisers’ investments in Best Buy’s media solutions and reinforce our differentiation and exclusivity. Role Overview
As the Reporting Capabilities Manager, you will help design and implement industry-leading campaign performance reporting in partnership with the Decision Science and Analytics and technology teams. This role will have a pulse on industry trends and emerging measurement innovations that will meet the evolving needs of our advertisers. You’ll build relationships with our advertising product and technical teams as we introduce new advertising products and capabilities to ensure reporting fidelity and transparency. You will recognize the universal expectations of advertising reporting as well as nuanced client brand objectives. This includes partnering with Ad Sales and Ad Account Management, to develop a deep appreciation of the range of client archetypes, objectives reflected in briefs from advertisers, and various media strategies that can further advance our reporting and insights capabilities.

You have a proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail and deadlines. You are self-motivated and able to thrive in results-driven environment. This position will report to the Director of Reporting and Insight.

Responsibilities:


  • Lead the development and execution of new toolsets and capabilities to enhance reporting and insights for the Advertising Business, in partnership with Decision Science and Analytics and technology teams.

  • Represent the "voice of the customer", identifying solutions that can be built to scale. Act as a liaison with product teams to help productize new solutions.

  • Build partnerships across internal technology, e-Commerce and Decision Science and Analytics teams to deliver scalable reporting solutions.

  • Develop reports, tools and metrics to track campaign performance, business trends, customer behavior and other key success indicators 


Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, media, eCommerce, operations, analytics, insights, measurement and/or reporting, or other relevant experience

  • Experience in digital media reporting landscape with a variety of reporting suite options

  • Demonstrated knowledge of marketing channels, technologies, measurement approaches and key metrics, including strong understanding of tools and data capture methodologies


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 2+ years experience with building new toolsets and capabilities for reporting and insights teams

  • 4+ years digital media experience with a focus on reporting and analytics capabilities

  • Experience with advanced analytic techniques, such as marketing mix modeling, multi-touch attribution, A/B testing and ROI measurement

  • Understanding of ad serving platforms such as Google Ad Manager, Campaign Manager or DV360 and how ad serving works across websites and apps

  • Experience with data exploration and data visualization tools, like Tableau, PowerBI, Datorama
