Under the direction of the Supervisor, a Scanning Technician II provides document support ensuring that records are processed in a timely and efficient manner with the highest level of quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1.    File loose papers, patient charts in their correct location.
2.    Review and scan additional loose papers into existing accession numbers through OnBase.
3.    Review and scan off site patient charts sent to GeneDx, uploading and saving charts from email to PDF and LIMS.
4.    Real time scanning for incoming accessions.
5.    Print barcodes.
6.    Clean and perform light maintenance on scanning equipment.
7.    Assists with filing and archiving process.
8.    Manage and update scanning ticket system.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent is required and 6 months in a document support role. Able to work successfully and productively in both a team environment and independently. Attention to detail and accuracy are critical.
